The Stay is exactly the correct shape; the 'chandelier' chain is as supplied in the past and the 'X' shaped 'ring-catcher' in the Waste is a Victorian pattern, as opposed to the modern "spider's web" or "swirl" shapes.

Nineteenth-century traps were generally made of lead. As that is unacceptable today, we offer a traditional copper and brass trap, available Polished, Nickel Plated or Chromium Plated.

Plastic traps should never be seen, and most modern polished metal traps are unfortunate in appearance and not recommended for Crapper basins.
