Our woodwork includes solid oak, mahogany and walnut W.C. seats. Thomas Crapper’s toilet seats are manufactured with a satin lacquered finish that enhances the natural beauty of the sustainable timbers they are made from.
The definitive W.C. seat, popular from the 1880s to the Great War. Huge and comfortable. Solid wood. Almost a piece of furniture! An exact reproduction of an original, complete with the ‘upstands’ and ‘pipe-cover’ as supplied with the very best Victorian/Edwardian examples. Looks best when supported by our large, cast-iron Seat Brackets. Hinges supplied in finishes to suit our cistern handles and flush pipes.
This classic design was introduced in the 1880s and yet, with changes of detail and size, was available until the Second World War. This seat suits both high-level and low-level cisterns.
Introduced around 1895 but still in production through the 1920s. Suitable for both high-level and low-level cisterns. An exact reproduction of an original featured in one of our old catalogues. Available as standard in oak, mahogany or walnut (20% extra charge for walnut). Our oval seat is supplied with hinges in finishes to suit our cistern handles and flushpipes.
Polished wooden patrases for cistern brackets, cloakroom basin brackets or W.C seats are now available, manufactured from solid oak, mahogany or walnut, to match your W.C. seat.
